Trinitro
Trinitro
Trinitrio is a stranded colorwork pullover inspired by the Trinity, The Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and Irish culture. I used a series of motifs that all have an element of the number 3. The 3-leafed
shamrocks make this the perfect sweater to wear on St. Patrick’s Day.
The yarn that I used is made in Ireland and the color palette is reminiscent of the Irish coastlands. The tweedy texture is a result of the blend of wool with silk and cashmere. This is a DK weight yarn, so other yarns can be substituted.
The yardage for the main color is 368 (410, 452, 494, 536, 579, 621) yds/336 (375, 413, 452, 490, 529, 567) m.
