Shower of Shamrocks

In celebration of all things Irish, I offer the Shower of Shamrocks Hat. The hat is knit bottom up in worsted weight yarn. The shamrocks are created with stranded colorwork.

Materials
125 yards/137.5 m worsted weight yarn, white (MC), Cascade 220 or similar.
100 yards/110 m worsted weight yarn, green (CC Cascade 220 or similar.
Size 6 US/ 4mm 16 in/40 cm circular needels or size needed to obtain gauge.
Size 6 US/4mm double point needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
