Grapevine Sweater
Grapevine Sweater
Grapvine is a top-down pullover that is worked in the round. No seaming required! The sweater features 4 cable panels. One panel each on the center front and center back, and one panel on each sleeve. The vining cable and bobble is inspired by a grapevine. The pattern is designed to be worn with 4 inches of ease in the body, but you can choose what size you prefer based on the finished size. The sleeves are just mildly decreased as you work toward the cuffs. There is a rapid decrease right before the ribbing.
The sweater is a special design for the 2025 Knitty McPurly Retreat in Grapevine, Texas, but is available for all. The pattern will be used for a pre-retreat KAL. Thank you to Dora Johnson and Heather Beasley for collaborating with me on this project. I also want to thank Lisa Hennessy for testing along with Dora and Heather.
