Freedom Crescent Shawl
Freedom Crescent Shawl
The Freedom Crescent Shawl was written during the COVID 19 virus pandemic of 2020. A time where many were forced to stay at home to flatten the curve and minimize the spread of the virus. For some, this meant a loss of freedom because they could not go to work, go to the gym, go out to eat, etc.
For me, it meant that I had more time to do something that I really love to do. I had time to knit and had time to create some new patterns. Rather than sleeping in, I was up at 5:00 am to take
advantage of the gift of time. When my family and friends complained, I could see why they didn’t like the lockdown, but I had to share my point of view. I was thrilled to have the time to create and also to admit that I could easily be a hermit!
