Chunky Striped Baby Hat

Use chunky weight yarn and helical knitting to make a quick striped baby hat without the annoying “jogs” that happen when you change from one color to another. I made a video tutorial that shows you how to make the color changes.

3 colors of Hometown by Lion Brand Super Bulky yarn, 100% Acrylic, 81 yds/74 m, 5 oz/142 g, colors Houston Cream, Oklahoma City Green & Washington Denim

Size 10.5 US/6.5 mm 32-in/80-cm circular needles to work in magic loop
or Size 10.5 US/6.5 mm double-pointed needles.

Stitch marker

The 3 skeins will make at least 6-7 hats, and you can change the color order on each hat.

2.5 sts & 4 rows = 1in/2.5 cm in stockinette stitch.
