Cheryl's Basic Sock
Cheryl's Basic Sock
Free knitting pattern for Cheryl's Basic Socks.
Cheryl’s Basic Socks are nothing new or ground breaking, but instead, this is my default method for knitting socks. I use the magic loop to work these socks 2-at-a-time from the top down, or cuff to toe. This is my adaptation with the tweaks that I use to make a sock that I like, that fits me well and
stays put when I am exercising.
I knit a short cuff, because that is what I prefer to wear. I use a heel flap and gusset because, of the
methods that I have tried, this fits me best. This is how I make socks for myself and for my family.
