My first major project this year is to make some tweaks to the Scottish Ale Pattern so that we can wear this sweater. The male version is very dense as it was designed to be outerwear. The female version will be knit from worsted weight yarn to give it a bit more drape. It will still be drop shoulder, but the sleeves will be a bit more fitted. I also plan to give an option for tunic length, perhaps with a split hem.
