Knitting Advent Too Much? Try This Instead

Knitting Advent Too Much? Try This Instead

Did you buy a knitting advent calendar and now you're wondering what to do with all that yarn? My suggestion is to give yourself some grace and don't feel pressured to use your advent right now. Instead, go ahead and open your advent daily, or all at once! After the hustle and bustle of Christmas is over, use that advent as a way to be creative with the palette in front of you. Let your creativity flow and make yourself a one of a kind piece. You can use those minis in any order, so use them as you think they will work best.

I also talk about finished projects, the things that I am working on and a few machines that help with my knitting.

Here is another video offering fantastic knitting patterns to help you create cozy knitting gifts or decor without feeling overwhelmed. All the details and more ideas are here.

The Knitty McPurly DK-weight Advent is themed For God So Loved The World.  It contains 25 20g mini skeins.  I stuck a couple of 100 g skeins in the box because I will likely use one or the other of them with the mini skeins.  The 100 g skeins were not a part of the advent.
